We Live in a Polluted World. Don’t Take Pure Air for Granted.

Being cooped up indoors and wearing masks during the Covid pandemic has made people very conscious about air quality. With good health in mind, people are paying attention creating a healthy microclimate in their homes and at work. Ionising air purifiers provide a simple, cost effective way to purify the air in a room, making it healthier for people to breathe - especially those who suffer from allergies, asthma, and other respiratory-related ailments.

How Do Ionic Air Purifiers Work?

We are surrounded by positive ions which are given off by equipment like computer monitors and TV screens as well as car fumes. Using water as a filter, ionic air purifiers create electrically charged negative ions and discharge them into the air. These charged ions bond themselves to particles of dust, mould, pollen, pet dander and other allergens or irritants in the air. In turn, this charges the
particles so that they will attach to each other, making them larger and heavier, and they drift downwards faster. It also causes them cling more to nearby surfaces such as walls or furniture. The result is that there are fewer particles floating around in the air that can be inhaled.

What are the Benefits of Using an Ionising Air Purifier?

  • Improves health. There is irrefutable evidence that air ionizers purify the air of bacteria, dust, cigarette smoke, moulds, soot, pollen, and household odours. This has a significant impact on alleviating allergens, relieving chest congestion, dry coughs and asthma.
  • Supports wellbeing. Negatively ionised air supports general wellbeing - it can lift one’s mood and helps to relieve fatigue.
  • Fragrances your home. Made from natural extracts, Crystal Aire’s water-soluble concentrates are non-toxic and alcohol-free, making them safe to use in all models of our purifiers and humidifiers.
  • Portable. Ionising air purifiers are generally compact and easily moved between rooms.
  • Low maintenance. They are easy to care for and have no filters to be cleaned.
  • Cost effective. They have no filters to be replaced and are electricity-efficient.
